France Short-Term Opportunity Pray for our Prayer Team Our France team leaves January 5th for Paris and will return to St. Louis on January 16. Please pray for safe travels today, and continue to pray for the team throughout their time in France as they provide support to the Irwins in their efforts to start a new church plant. How you can pray Pray for the people of Paris, especially in the area of the new church (metro station called Gare de Lyon). Pray for the leaders of the new church, Doug and Emilee Irwin and Guillaume and Elodie Bourin (that's all we know now) and their spiritual direction in setting precedents for the new church. Pray for the six short-term team members to be effective supporters with eyes to see the needs and spiritual challenges. Prayers have been answered for the Irwins to find a place for the church to meet. Trip Details: What: Participate in local prayer for the new church plant that the Irwins are launching January 22nd. When: January 5-16 Where: Paris, France area Why: To serve and encourage the Irwins in their ministry. To provide local prayer support and possibly hand out invites about the launch of Eglise de la Rive Droite. Meet the Team With less than 2% committed followers of Jesus in France, most people in France do not even know a genuine believer. Grace missionaries, Doug and Emilee Irwin, along with their French co-leaders, have a bold vision to start a new French-speaking church, near a massive metro station near the center of Paris. They launch in January 2023 and have asked a team from Grace to come and pray over all aspects of this effort. We are that prayer team. Thank you for joining with us prayerfully and financially. • ADULT DISCIPLESHIP | GCC

Adult Discipleship Grace Discipleship Network ...that we may present everyone mature in Christ…rooted and built up in him and established in the faith... Colossians 1:28 & 2:7 At Grace Community Chapel, it is our conviction that discipleship engagement is essential to achieving a growing relationship with Jesus. With this in mind, we offer a network of independent and mutually reinforcing discipleship opportunities that are specifically dedicated to advancing spiritual growth in the context of church community and individual commitment. The Pathways Celebrations Sunday Morning Corporate Worship Celebrations include our Sunday morning corporate worship services. These services, which offer elements of both traditional and contemporary worship experiences, are primarily devoted to congregational singing and the expository teaching of God’s Word. SERVICE TIMES Classes Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship Opportunities Classes are identified by traditional Sunday morning arrangements that are generally larger in size and offer instruction and interaction specific to the Bible and other key topics of spiritual interest. CURRENT OFFERINGS Clusters Sunday and Midweek Adult Discipleship Opportunities As a hybrid of traditional Classes and Communities (small groups), Clusters offer a unique approach to intentional discipleship in which smaller collections of people (generally a maximum of 12-14) gather under a time-limited arrangement of 12-36 weeks depending on the focus of a particular Cluster. Clusters involve an interactive environment that typically requires some out-of-session assignments and a deeper level of engagement. The primary goals of Clusters include promoting personal and collective spiritual growth and equipping that is aimed at advancing discipleship influence. CURRENT OFFERINGS Collectives Midweek Adult Discipleship Opportunities Collectives, as defined by “a cooperative enterprise” (Oxford Dictionary) involve a group of people meeting together in the interests of a unified purpose. Collectives include midweek ministries of various sizes that involve individuals engaging in Bible or topical studies via live instruction or video, prayer and fellowship with the goal of advancing biblical application through individual and “collective” spiritual growth. SEE WHAT'S AVAILABLE Communities Small Group Adult Discipleship Opportunities Communities, which are otherwise known as small groups, represent more of the relational end of our adult discipleship ministry. Communities focus on some key areas such as study, prayer and fellowship, with an important component including the manner in which individuals engage in life together and care well for one another. • STATEMENT OF FAITH | GCC

STATEMENT OF FAITH Statement of Faith 1. We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible to be the only inspired, authoritative Word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21) 2. We believe that there is one God , the Creator, eternally existent in three Persons–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–each having the same essence and attributes. (2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19) 3. We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man in indivisible union. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary atonement through His shed blood, His death and bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future bodily return in power and glory. (John 1:1,14; Philippians 2:6-8; 1 Timothy 3:16; Revelation 19:11-16; I Corinthians 15:1-8) 4. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, filling them as they yield to Him with the goal of conforming them to the image of Christ. (Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 12:13; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18) 5. We believe salvation is a gift of God received through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone and His sacrifice for sin. We believe that a person is justified by grace through faith apart from works and that all true believers have eternal life. Saving faith includes repentance, which is a change of mind about sin and the need for Jesus as Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; I John 5:10-13; Mark 1:15) 6. We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head. (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22) 7. We believe that water baptism and the *Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation. (Acts 8:12; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28) 8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting glory in heaven with God and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in hell apart from God. (2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 22:3-5, 20:15; Daniel 12:2) *Communion is open to all who have trusted Christ as Savior whether members of Grace or not and is observed on the first Sunday of each month.

BOX C Colorado Springs, CO 80901 Birthday: Solomon: September 16 Ruby: February 23 Mission Focus Our Mission focus is in three areas: A. Evangelism. B. Leadership (Both Church and Government). C. Marriage and Family. We accomplish these areas of ministry through: A. Two Radio and TV stations; B. Social Media like Facebook. We are in over 50 countries. Our listeners increased by 502% to 63,781 in the last month according to Facebook. Testimony Solomon's Testimony Solomon came to know Christ at the age of 9 through his parents’ ministry and family devotions. Parents were Kenyan Missionaries who left everything to serve God and live by faith, trusting the Lord for every need. Parents emphasized the importance of personal time with God for everyone in the family. During family devotion everybody was expected to share what he or she learned during personal devotion. Children learned from early age to have personal devotion, pray and trust God for every need. Solomon, however, planned to make money and give as others served the Lord and live by faith. During high school he struggled about God’s will for his life. God made it clear that he was interested in Solomon’s heart not his money. He finally surrendered to God’s purpose and God began to work in his heart. Solomon ended up in full time ministry and continues to serve with joy. Ruby's Testimony Abandoned by parents at about a month old, Ruby was raised in an orphanage with close to 500 children. Life was difficult at the orphanage and Ruby longed to know about her parents. When she was 14, a letter from her dad in Canada arrived saying her mother was dead. Ironically, another letter arrived the following day from her mom in Barbados introducing herself to her. Neither of the parents wrote to her again. At age 16 she had to leave the orphanage to work as a maid, first for a Chinese family for a year and a half and later for a Muslim family. The Evangelical Alliance Mission arrived and rented property from the Muslim family. Through their ministry, Ruby came to faith in Christ. She finally met her father at the age of 19 and her mother at the age of 23. Both became believers through her testimony. Scott & Jayne Cuidon Global Missionary Counseling Phone: 630-580-5750 Email: scottcuidon@meintl.org Address: MEI P.O. Box 4947 Wheaton, IL 60189 Birthday: Scott: March 10 Jayne: October 28 Mission Focus Our focus is to provide a holistic approach to spiritual and emotional health for those wearied or wounded on the front lines of ministry around the globe. Through spiritual friendship, spiritual direction and biblical counseling, we offer time and space to listen to God, refocus life and ministry priorities, and rest. Three, six or twelve day retreats serve as an opportunity to heal, gain perspective, and receive input from fellow missionaries in a confidential and safe environment. Testimony Scott's Testimony: As I was filling out the application for the dorm at K-State, I had a very distinct urge to live on a certain floor in a certain dorm, although I knew no one there. As it turned out, a group of CRU students had picked that dorm floor as their evangelism target that next year. I showed up with a big “bull’s-eye” on my chest. Sometime before Thanksgiving in 1981, I was alone in my dorm room reading Hal Lindsey’s, “The Late, Great, Planet Earth” which pretty much scared me into the Kingdom ☺. And although at the time I didn’t know that I was “becoming a Christian” that night, I made a sincere decision to invite Christ into my life, to forgive my sin, and to make me the person He wanted me to be. I became more and more involved with CRU over the next months/years, to the point that I dropped out of the Architecture program that I was in because I thought I wanted to be a missionary . . . and so I transferred to Truman State to study math education. I thought that it would be easy to get into any country in the world as a math teacher. Jayne's Testimony: I remember as a young child not only wanting to please my parents, but also wanting to avoid hell (a topic spoken of often in our Free Will Baptist circles). I “asked Jesus to come into my heart” at 4, was baptized at 8, worked and grew up in the church 3-4 nights a week, and even went on mission trips, but it wasn’t until college that I began to understand what it meant to walk with Jesus daily even though I had a thorough knowledge of Scripture. I was discipled and developed a deep love for the word of God for transformation rather than knowledge.
