Our Global Workers Raymond & Kathryn Hain Greater Europe Mission | Rome, Italy Mission Focus For 5 decades, we have been on mission to share the gospel cross-culturally, but especially to Muslims. Seventeen years in the Middle East gave us Arabic language skills that break down walls when we explain Jesus (Essa) in the language and concepts of the Quran. Rome has given us a place where we have freedom to share Jesus without fear of the secret police, stoning or deportations. By leaving the spiritual principalities that rule over their countries, individuals are more open to question Islam. In one park downtown, we can share the gospel in a neighborhood that speaks 120 languages, many from unreached people groups. Once on the bus, I sat next to a Wolof from Senegal. With only 15 minutes all I could do was help him question his Islamic upbringing, “Why could Essa heal people and raise the dead, but Mohammed couldn’t?” or “Why is Mohammed dead but Essa is alive?” I rarely am refused when offering the Gospel of John in Arabic as the story of the “Life of the Messiah” (one of Jesus’ titles in the Quran). Seeds planted. From God comes the growth. With prayer, Bible portions, and gentle questions, we plant seed after seed in Italy’s fertile soil. Thank you so much for coming along side us in reaching the displaced peoples from the 10-40 window in Rome." Back to Global Workers

Outreach Strategy Get involved "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?" ~Jesus "What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus frequently led out with this question. As we approach our community, we look for areas of felt-need that we can address as a church. WHERE ARE WE FOCUSED "So that you may know that The Son of Man has the power to forgive sins... " But He didn't stop there. Jesus always paired His physical blessings with His Spiritual power. We train our members to competently work the message of salvation into daily conversation. SHARING JESUS "...Pick up your bed and walk ." The Kingdom is advancing in St. Charles County. Our Global Workers Scott & Jayne Cuidon Global Missionary Counseling Mission Focus Our focus is to provide a holistic approach to spiritual and emotional health for those wearied or wounded on the front lines of ministry around the globe. Through spiritual friendship, spiritual direction and biblical counseling, we offer time and space to listen to God, refocus life and ministry priorities, and rest. Three, six or twelve day retreats serve as an opportunity to heal, gain perspective, and receive input from fellow missionaries in a confidential and safe environment. Testimony Scott's Testimony: As I was filling out the application for the dorm at K-State, I had a very distinct urge to live on a certain floor in a certain dorm, although I knew no one there. As it turned out, a group of CRU students had picked that dorm floor as their evangelism target that next year. I showed up with a big “bull’s-eye” on my chest. Sometime before Thanksgiving in 1981, I was alone in my dorm room reading Hal Lindsey’s, “The Late, Great, Planet Earth” which pretty much scared me into the Kingdom ☺. And although at the time I didn’t know that I was “becoming a Christian” that night, I made a sincere decision to invite Christ into my life, to forgive my sin, and to make me the person He wanted me to be. I became more and more involved with CRU over the next months/years, to the point that I dropped out of the Architecture program that I was in because I thought I wanted to be a missionary . . . and so I transferred to Truman State to study math education. I thought that it would be easy to get into any country in the world as a math teacher. Jayne's Testimony: I remember as a young child not only wanting to please my parents, but also wanting to avoid hell (a topic spoken of often in our Free Will Baptist circles). I “asked Jesus to come into my heart” at 4, was baptized at 8, worked and grew up in the church 3-4 nights a week, and even went on mission trips, but it wasn’t until college that I began to understand what it meant to walk with Jesus daily even though I had a thorough knowledge of Scripture. I was discipled and developed a deep love for the word of God for transformation rather than knowledge. Back to Global Workers

Youth counseling will be done with another person in the room (who will be held to confidentiality standards) for accountability purposes, and counseling with women will be handled in a manner consistent with wisdom and best practice. What to Expect Biblical Counseling is counseling that is directly centered and focused on the Bible to deal with the issues of life, leaning on the promise of 2 Peter 1:3 which says, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness." Its focus is discipleship and heart change as developed through obedience to and understanding better God’s word. Ultimately, the goal is to help you respond to your life circumstances in a way that will please God. The underlying assumption is that God’s Word truly is sufficient for life and godliness. Biblical counseling is meant to teach you to live a godly life in response to any life circumstances you may be going through, while also often providing genuine relief from various whole-self afflictions. Everything will be held in strict confidence, except where, in the counselor’s judgment, there is a biblical and/or legal requirement to involve others (e.g. criminal activity). Our Global Workers Amy Scott TeachBeyond: Sparrow Project Mission Focus I work with an arm of the missions organization TeachBeyond. The byline of TeachBeyond is “Reaching the Nations Through Education”. The division of TeachBeyond that I work with is called the Sparrow Project. The Sparrow Project was started in 2021 when one of the TeachBeyond leaders was walking through the slums of the city of Lusaka, Zambia and noticed that there were schools popping up everywhere - in churches, in abandoned buildings, in garages, in chicken coops – and that the teachers had no training and very few materials. Out of this need grew a vision to help empower the teachers, especially Christian teachers, to reach their communities for Christ through Biblical-centered teaching. Thus began the Sparrow Project, whose primary goal is to provide training for teachers in under-resourced schools. Since 2021, the Sparrow Project has grown quickly! We now have a presence in 13 countries, including two creative-access nations. As associate director of the Sparrow Project, I work with other staff members as we develop curriculum, provide resources, empower our national leaders, and respond to requests for training from schools around the world. I also specifically work to encourage and mentor the leaders in Latin America and the French-speaking countries of West Africa. Testimony I grew up in a Christian family. I had a firsthand introduction to missions at a very early age, as my dad, who was a pastor, helped to start a Haitian church in south Florida. When I was seven years old, my parents left me in the care of a church family, while they went out of town to lead a mission trip. It was through a conversation with the mom of this family that I realized for the first time that the Gospel that I had heard for as long as I could remember was for me – that Jesus had died to save me from my sins and that I stood in need of a Savior. I acknowledged my sins to God and asked Him to forgive me and make me His child. Through the years, the Lord has shown me again and again that He is faithful. It is His faithfulness that continues to draw me to Him each day. When I was about ten years old, I began to feel a strong draw to foreign missions. After college, I taught in a Christian school in the U.S., but foreign missions continued to draw me. I was privileged to serve overseas for three years, in Russia and France. I returned to the U.S. with the purpose of attending seminary so that I could be more effective in missions. During my time in the U.S., three things happened: I finished seminary, the mission I had worked for was closed by the government, and I met the man who is now my husband! Terry and I were married in 2004. We have been blessed with our three children; Erin, Jesse, and Adam, and I have been able to remain involved in Christian education and part-time missions work. As my children have gotten older, I felt that God was leading me to be more involved in foreign missions, and He opened the door for me to begin serving with TeachBeyond in January of 2025. All praise be to Him! Back to Global Workers

Our Global Workers Paul and Angie Kimball School of Missionary Aviation Mission Focus Our mission is to be a part of reaching the nations with the gospel of Christ by training the next generation of mission aviators. As full-time missionaries with Proclaim Aviation assigned to SMAT in Ionia, Michigan, we get to be a part of equipping families to share the love of Jesus in remote areas of the world where aviation provides access to medical care, transportation, and the gospel. Paul is SMAT's Chief Flight Instructor, helping to teach the flight students in ground school and in the airplane, and also mentoring and supervising the other flight instructors. Angie works part-time in the office and is also involved in ministry with the female students and student wives. Testimony Paul's Testimony I grew up in Sierra Leone, West Africa, where my parents ministered among the Loko people and completed a New Testament translation for them. Having been raised in a Christian home, I heard the Gospel and watched it being lived out in my parents’ lives from the time of my earliest memories. I cannot pinpoint the specific time I came to saving faith in Christ, but I do remember clearly understanding my need for a personal relationship with the Lord and for forgiveness of sin, when I was nine, one evening after family devotions in Sierra Leone. At 12 years old, at a missions conference in Illinois, I committed to serve the Lord wherever and in whatever way He led. In my senior year of high school I learned about the need for aviation in missions. The Lord provided in a wonderful way and allowed me to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and graduate as a pilot and aircraft mechanic from Moody’s aviation program, then located in eastern Tennessee. During my time in Tennessee the Lord brought Angie and I together. Loving and serving the Lord together with her has been the greatest joy of my life. Angie's Testimony I grew up in a small town in Iowa with wonderful parents and one older sister. We were active in church, and I remember asking Jesus into my heart around age 10. I didn’t tell anyone, but read my Bible more and tried very hard to be good. In college, God used some foolish choices and a Christian roommate to show me that I was trying to follow God with one foot and keep my other foot in the world. He opened my eyes to my sin and need for forgiveness, and the grace He offered, not because of what I’d done, but because of what Christ had done for me. It was a turning point in my life, and it’s amazing to see that I have yet to stop learning more about the depths of His mercy and love. That next year, I began looking into teaching overseas (I was getting my elementary education degree). When I met Paul and found out he was studying to become a missionary pilot, I was fascinated – with the man and with missions! – and worked to find out more about what he was wanting to do. It was easy for me to join him in pursuing missions as our life work, and it has been a privilege to use the gifts and interests He’s given us to help people know the truth of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
