Grace Discipleship Network

...that we may present everyone mature in Christ…rooted and built up in him and established in the faith...

Colossians 1:28 & 2:7

At Grace Community Chapel, it is our conviction that discipleship engagement is essential to achieving a growing relationship with Jesus. With this in mind, we offer a network of independent and mutually reinforcing discipleship opportunities that are specifically dedicated to advancing spiritual growth in the context of church community and individual commitment.

The Pathways

Celebrations

Sunday Morning Corporate Worship

Celebrations include our Sunday morning corporate worship services. These services, which offer elements of both traditional and contemporary worship experiences, are primarily devoted to congregational singing and the expository teaching of God’s Word.

Classes

Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship Opportunities

Classes are identified by traditional Sunday morning arrangements that are generally larger in size and offer instruction and interaction specific to the Bible and other key topics of spiritual interest.

Clusters

Sunday and Midweek Adult Discipleship Opportunities

As a hybrid of traditional Classes and Communities (small groups), Clusters offer a unique approach to intentional discipleship in which smaller collections of people (generally a maximum of 12-14) gather under a time-limited arrangement of 12-36 weeks depending on the focus of a particular Cluster. Clusters involve an interactive environment that typically requires some out-of-session assignments and a deeper level of engagement. The primary goals of Clusters include promoting personal and collective spiritual growth and equipping that is aimed at advancing discipleship influence.

Collectives

Midweek Adult Discipleship Opportunities

Collectives, as defined by “a cooperative enterprise” (Oxford Dictionary) involve a group of people meeting together in the interests of a unified purpose. Collectives include midweek ministries of various sizes that involve individuals engaging in Bible or topical studies via live instruction or video, prayer and fellowship with the goal of advancing biblical application through individual and “collective” spiritual growth.

Communities

Small Group Adult Discipleship Opportunities

Communities, which are otherwise known as small groups, represent more of the relational end of our adult discipleship ministry. Communities focus on some key areas such as study, prayer and fellowship, with an important component including the manner in which individuals engage in life together and care well for one another.

Other Ways
to Connect

Connect, be encouraged, and encourage others through a variety of activities, tailored to meet specific needs and interests.
