The purpose of this devotional is to explore what makes these core beliefs function. Why does the death of a man, even the God-man, mean that I can be right with God? Why doesn’t the old system of sacrifices and rules function anymore? This study explores the Old Covenants alongside the book of Romans to build depth into the core Christian beliefs, taking the believer beyond “because the Bible says so” into a functional, practical understanding of how their faith works and what is expected of them in response.
Readers will examine multiple Scripture passages and answer guiding questions that will help lead them into a deeper understanding of their faith.
