Currently the majority of my ministry is at the FEU (Foyer Évangélique Universitaire), a non- denominational Christian association for university students. Here we seek to share the gospel with as many students as possible, as well as to disciple and train believers and to connect them to local churches. A challenge for us is to continue to find creative ways to reach out to the 100,000+ students in Lille! But we’ve seen that the university years are often a time when students are more open spiritually and seeking answers to life’s big questions. Pray for us as we interact with these students, and for their hearts to be receptive to the truth.
My mother first introduced me to Christ and began taking me to church at a young age, where I learned that God created me, loved me, and wanted a relationship with me—but that was impossible because of my sin. The only way to be reconciled to God was through Jesus Christ, God made flesh, who paid my debt on the cross and rose again, defeating sin forever! At age 7, after Vacation Bible School, I made the decision to follow Jesus, and I’ve never regretted it! I know that without Christ in my life, I would be a misguided, self-serving, and unloving sinner. I’ve seen God’s faithfulness to me throughout my life, and every day he continues to teach me new truths about his love and purpose for me. He has given me a new life, and my desire is to use this life to honor him.
