VOLUNTEER

Conference Volunteer Details

Thank you for you interest in volunteering at the 2024 Together Marriage Conference.

 

Please note that volunteer spots are for those who regularly attend Grace Community Chapel

and will be accepted accordingly.

Below are descriptions of the teams we will need help in. Please read through the descriptions and their time commitments. The times are general expectations but can change according to team manager’s discretion and need. If you feel like this is something you would like to commit to, please click on the volunteer button to let us know which teams you would prefer. 
 


IMPORTANT: Please do not register for the conference yet. After you submit the volunteer form, we will provide instructions about how to receive the volunteer discount when you register.

Volunteering Opportunities:

Security & Ushering Team (need 12-15 people):

Ensure the safety and efficient movement of people throughout the event. Team members will need to be hospitable in greeting all who enter, while being aware and vigilant as needs may occur such as (but not limited to): 

All volunteers will be required to attend an orientation meeting the weekend prior to the event (more information to come).

 

The following are expected times of involvement during the event:
Friday: 5:30pm-7:10pm, 8:10pm-8:50pm, 9:55pm-10:30pm

(times fluctuate in accordance with teaching time)
Saturday: 7:45am-9:10am, 10:25am-11:05am, 11:55am-12:30pm

(times fluctuate in accordance with teaching time)

Registration Team (need 2-3 people):

THE REGISTRATION TEAM IS FULL. WE HOPE YOU'LL CONSIDER SERVING IN A DIFFERENT CAPACITY AT THE CONFERENCE.


Assist in setup of registration space. Help arriving patrons with check-in process and answer questions on each day of the event. All volunteers will be required to attend an orientation meeting the weekend prior to the event (more information to come).

 

The following are expected times of involvement during the event:
Friday: 5:30pm-7:10pm
Saturday: 7:45am-9:10am

Catering/Hospitality Team (need 5-7 people):

THE CATERING/HOSPITALITY TEAM IS FULL. WE HOPE YOU'LL CONSIDER SERVING IN A DIFFERENT CAPACITY AT THE CONFERENCE.

Assist in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where people can congregate during pre-conference times and break times. Team members will help decorate/set up Hope Hall and set food up according to team manager’s instructions. All volunteers will be required to attend an orientation meeting the weekend prior to the event

The following are expected times of involvement during the event:

Pre-conference: TBD for set-up
Friday: 5:00pm-7:00pm, 8:10pm-8:50pm
Saturday: 7:45am-9:10am, 10:25am-11:05am, 12:00pm-12:30pm (tear down)
