Our mission at GSM is to present students mature in Christ.
We get this from Colossians 1:28:"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
Maturity in Christ to us means "Christlikeness." With that in mind, we value Christlikeness in all areas of life which we've summed up in four words: Humility: "It's not about me." We are dedicated to teaching students to deny themselves, pick up their cross daily, and follow Jesus. (Philippians 2:1-11)
Hospitality: "It's about them." We are dedicated to teaching students to behave in such a way that every stranger can be treated like a neighbor (Luke 10:25-37)
Love: "It's about 'us'." We are dedicated to teaching students to think with a "we first" mentality, not a "me first" mentality. To participate in youth group to encourage others before trying to be encouraged themselves. (John 13:34)
Devotion: "It's about Him." We are dedicated to teaching students not merely about God, but to know God personally and how to seek Him out for the rest of their lives. Our goal is not to just give information about God, but to build lifelong disciples. (Luke 9:23-25)

A prayer time is scheduled every Tuesday at 6 pm in Room 108. Come pray for our youth and leaders, as well as general prayer needs of Grace Community Chapel. Feel free to bring a meal for yourself if that helps with your schedule. All are welcome to join this group - no registration is required.
