Have you ever reconnected with a friend after spending years apart? Did you find yourself feeling sentimental - even emotional - especially if that friend had been there for you in the ups and downs of life?
We saw in Acts 16 that Paul planted a church in Philippi and that his connections with those forming the foundation of that church were deep. We are a few years down the road as Paul sits in prison, not knowing what the future holds. What we do know is he wants to reconnected with friends who have helped him through different stages of life. This series is part thank-you note, part encouragement to keep learning about Christ and His great love for us as individuals. Even when Paul is at a low point, he wants his friends to know about the greatness of the God he serves. To know the greatness of the Son who was willing to humble Himself unto death to open eternity for all. Walk with us as we learn from Paul and are united as brothers and sisters in Christ |
