Take a few minutes today to pray for loved ones who are struggling with illness. Ask God for healing - physical, emotional, and spiritual. Ask Him to bring peace and patience to all being affected by the sickness, that they would experience hope that can only be found in Him. “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12 ESV) |

Our good, faithful God, we pray for our healthcare workers today. They are facing risks and challenges that are unique to the pandemic. Please give them the physical and emotional strength to do the work You have called them to do. Help them be a blessing to their patients, and please protect them from illness and burnout. Help them experience Your peace and comfort, and show us ways to bless and support them during this time. |

“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:4-7 ESV) Heavenly Father, I confess that I can do nothing to earn Your gift of salvation. I am saved, only because of Your goodness, lovingkindness, and mercy. You have washed me, renewed me, justified me, and given me the hope of eternal life through Your Son. I rejoice in Your goodness today! |

Lee and Diana Whitworth serve with Biblical Ministries Worldwide sharing the gospel in Mormon communities in Utah. This past fall the Whitworths were able to celebrate as a handful of church plants in which they have been involved graduated to govern themselves. Currently Lee and Diana are teaching and serving through Bible Studies, retreats, and Sunday School classes among other things. Lee is also mentoring many area pastors and focusing on care for the churches. As you pray for the Whitworths, praise God for the fruit of their ministry as seen in healthy growth of church plants and their progress toward independence. Praise Him also for His faithfulness through Diana’s battle with cancer. Pray for Diana’s health and effective treatment as she is receiving more chemotherapy for a spot found on her liver.
