Women's Adult Bible Classes
We have Bible classes on Sunday mornings just for women. These classes provide you with an opportunity to study God's Word as well as to share and pray together weekly. Available at 9:00 and at 10:30. Check the Adult Bible Class brochure/page for topics and locations. Spiritual Gifts exploration Those not attending the precept Bible Study may wish to attend our Network classes to explore their spiritual gifts. Come find out how the Lord would have you use your gifts to serve Him! Call for the next class starting date. Precept Bible Class A Precept study will enable you to study God's Word for yourself. The strength of this class is that you learn how to study the Bible on your own. You can choose from classes on Tuesday evenings or Wednesday mornings. Martha Fellowship This is a monthly meeting for women interested in encouraging our missionary family. Each month, Martha Fellowship spends time together praying for our missionaries, encouraging them with cards and letters, and undertaking special projects as needed. See the weekly bulletin or What's Happenin' page for this month's meeting time and location. MOM's in Touch Moms interested in praying regularly for their school-aged children will enjoy these weekly meetings. Join other moms as we pray for our children, their teachers, and school administrators. Contact Patti Warman for more info. Special Events You can meet other women or bring a friend to any of our special events throughout the year. Whether you laugh a little or cry a little, you'll definitely leave encouraged and enriched! Book Club Book Club ladies meet the fourth Monday evening of the month to select and discuss quality books. Book Club meetings feature dessert and great conversation for women who enjoy reading and interacting with other women. April 24, "Dreaming in Black and White" by Laura Jensen Walker. Mid-Week Bible Studies Throughout the year the Women Of Grace sponsor Bible studies, typically providing time for study, prayer, and small-group interaction. This is a great way to learn more about the Bible and to get to know other women in the church. One-To-One One-To-One is an opportunity for a woman desiring to know more of Jesus Christ to be mentored by another woman in a 6-8 week study. MOPS MOPS stands for Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers and exists to meet the needs of moms. Our MOPS group seeks to offer relationships and friendships for moms that will encourage them as well as provide practical and spiritual support! Children are cared for in our parallel program called MOPPETS. Here they will be exposed to a Bible-based curriculum which includes stories, songs, and hands-on activities. Running September - May we meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 9:00 - 11:15 a.m. Check the church bulletin or the What's Happenin' page for the next MOPS date. Prime-Time Ladies A monthly luncheon and fun outing await our ladies and their friends. Contact the church office for this month's event and location. 636-970-1311 Quilters On the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, ladies from Grace meet at 10:00 a.m. to assemble beautiful quilts which are donated to various mission agencies supported by Grace Chapel. Many hands make light work and your are cordially invited to join in! Deaconess Ministry Our Deaconesses are twelve ladies elected to assist the pastors and elders in caring for and ministering to the sick and hurting in the church. In this capacity, they pray, send cards, make calls and provide meals as needed. They are also responsible for preparing the monthly communion service, assisting at baptisms, decorating the sanctuary, encouraging our college students and hosting receptions for special occasions.
