Events for Children in 2012

Kid’s Fun Nights (May and November)

Children come on a Sunday night  in May for fun, food, games, prizes and a special attraction, as well as Movie Night in November.

Summer Fun Days (June and July)

Children come together for fun, crafts, food, Bible stories, and special attractions one day a week, for five weeks during the summer.

Family Night at Alligators Creek (August)

Families come to Alligator’s Creek Waterpark (O’Fallon) for an evening of “wet” fun.

Summer SandMan Festival

Come and watch a world champion sand sculptor turn 30 tons of sand on our parking lot into an amazing sand sculpture for all to enjoy.  This is a community celebration  with music, carnival games, prizes, and food.

Pumpkin Patch  (mid October)

Kids will enjoy coming to the children’s area on Sunday morning to choose their favorite pumpkin to take home.

Christmas Event (December)

December will bring a family activity, a Christmas craft day, or a very special Sunday morning activity for all children.

Good News Clubs

Grace Community Chapel is supporting Good News Clubs . . . after school Bible Clubs sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship.  CEF sponsors Good News Clubs all over the world.  Our teams of volunteers at Grace are running three clubs in our area at Mid Rivers, Progress South, and Westhoff Elementary Schools.  Kids come together after school for a snack, games, Bible teaching, Bible verse memorization, and a missionary story.  They learn about God’s love for them and how to live their daily lives in a way that is pleasing to Him.  Good News Clubs serve children from Kindergarten through Grade 5 and permission slips are available at all three schools.  To learn more about our Good News Clubs, call Alice Petty at (636) 970-1311.
