Newcomer Process
Finding Your Place at Grace:
Walking into a new church can be uncomfortable and intimidating. At Grace Community Chapel, you can expect to feel welcomed and wanted. Our hub of information is called Grace Central and is located in the center of our concourse. People are there to answer any questions you may have about our church and its ministries.
We have a newcomers’ process to help you get to know us and find a place to belong. The process includes:
- Newcomers’ Luncheon – This luncheon offered once a month after Sunday morning services. The catered lunch is hosted by the entire ministry staff and allows you to meet and talk with the staff in a casual setting.
- Discovering Grace – This class is offered once a month on Sunday afternoon. Discovering Grace is led by our Senior Pastor, Dair Hileman, and provides an opportunity for you to dig deeper and ask specific questions about our core values, our doctrines and the priorities of the church.
- Sharing Grace – This class is also offered once a month on Sunday afternoon. Sharing Grace is led by our Director of Outreach, Barbara Coghlan. It is intended to help new people understand the culture of our church, our passion to walk an authentic Christian life and our mission to reach in, reach up and reach out.
