In the Bible we read of the love Jesus had and care He demonstrated for children. Here at Grace, we seek to imitate His love and compassion. All of our lessons are based on the Bible and are age appropriate. Our teachers are screnned to determine their character and fitness for ministry with children. We seek to communicate the love of God, using teachers who themselves love the Lord and love His children. We invite you to entrust your children to our care.

Summer 2007 - "Splish Splash Bible Bash": Kids had a "Splish Splash Bible Bash" good time when they came to Summer Fun Days 2007 at Grace Community Chapel. They splashed into a lively Bible drama and discoverd the powerful ways God used water in the Bible to demonstrate His love for us. The Craft Corner was a place where kids could let their creative juices flow and take home their projects. Each day brought a Fun Day Attraction for kids to experience and enjoy. All Fun Days began at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 12:00 Noon, one day a week, for five weeks (each week is a different day). Kids came and joined us if they were Age 5/Kg. - Grade 5 (Fall '07) Monday, June 18th Bible Drama: The Israelites Cross the Red Sea God parted the waters of the Red Sea to bring Moses and the Israelites to safety when they were being pursued by the Egyptian army. Fun Day Attraction: Up, Up and Away Mad Science came and demonstrated the power of air pressure. This exciting event featured demonstrations, hot air mini-balloons, and the Mad Science Hovercraft. Tuesday, June 26th Bible Drama: Jesus Calms the Storm Jesus proved his divinity, as well as His love for His frightened disciples, by commanding the storm at sea to stop. Fun Day Attraction: Meet Catherine Bowler Catherine Bowler, Age 15, is the 2006 Patsy Montana National Yodeling Champion. She enjoyed sharing her faith, talent, and experiences with kids of all ages. Catherine was featured on the March cover of Brio Magazine, along with a great article sharing her faith and experiences since the yodeling competition. We even had our own competition. Wednesday, July 11th Bible Drama: Elijah Challenges the Profits of Baal God answered Elijah's prayer, proving He is the one true God. Fun Day Attraction: Naturalist and Friends We were joined by a Naturalist from the Missouri Department of Conservation who brought some of his interesting "friends". We learned how God's creations help balance the natural resources in our world. Thursday, July 19th Bible Drama: Jesus Cooks for the Disciples on the Beach After causing fish to fill the nets, Jesus prepared breakfast for his disciples on the beach. Fun Day Attraction: Cicoff the Jester Cicoff is a professional performer, storyteller, juggler, and teacher. He illustrated the importance of character traits like discipline, obedience, honor, respect and responsibility. Friday, July 27th Bible Drama: Paul Shipwrecks on the Beach The Lord protected Paul and his shipmates through a terrible storm and brought them to safety on a friendly island. Fun Day Attraction: Cindy's Zoo Throughout the Bible we read about many different animals God created. We learned interesting facts about some of them and had "hands on" experience getting to know them better. Our visitors included a baby llama, baby camel, donkey, cow, goats, sheep and more.
