Awana is an acrostic which stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is taken from II Timothy 2:15 — "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (KJV)

Children must enjoy God's Word if they are to learn and apply it in their lives.  In addition, Christian friends are a powerful tool against Statan's grip on children.  The Grace Community Chapel Awana Club provides a special place for your children to learn God's plan for their lives in a fun-filled environment.  Children can make new friends, hear the Gospel message, memorize scripture, play exciting games, compete in rewarding and challenging contests, and recieve public recognition for their efforts.  Awana Club is also a great place for parents to be involved in the spiritual education of their children and if you aren't careful, you may learn something new yourself!
