Why should we occupy so much of our time in believing fantasies like "The Davinci Code" when we have real eyewitnesses to the greatest event recorded in human history.
The resurrection was just such an event. That single act of Christ rising from the dead gives hope for a fallen world that there is an afterlife, and Christians are going to be there.
The problem arises because people only see what they want to see, and sadly many don't "see" the resurrection today.
