How long have you been at Grace on staff?   2 years

What are your hobbies outside your vocation? Home schooling my middle school and high school kids, spending fun times with my husband and all the kids, volunteering for a Christian ranch, writing.

What is your favorite Scripture?  Too many wonderful ones to narrow it down.

Besides the bible, what is your favorite book you’ve read?  I don’t think I have a favorite, but I enjoy many authors of Christian fiction, and especially like historical fiction.

Why is it your favorite?  I never liked studying history in school, but historical fiction makes history more interesting.  I like to feel like I’ve learned something worthwhile after reading a book.

Where did you grow up?  St. Louis County

How long have you been married to your spouse?  30 years this May

What is one interesting fact you can share about you that Grace members may not yet know? I volunteer at Strong Tower Ranch in Wright City, Missouri, as the secretary on their board of directors, and helping with horsemanship activities at their summer camps.

Tell about your conversion and about your walk with Christ.   I was raised in a Christian home and for as long as I can remember, I have believed on Christ as my Savior.  I know that without God’s mercy I would be utterly lost and without hope, and without the Holy Spirit leading me, I would have no purpose or direction in life.  Having a relationship with God through His Son means that I never have to despair, even when life gets hard.  He’s always there for me – I just have to turn to Him.  He is the ONLY thing in life that never changes, never fails, never disappoints.

What is your family like?  My husband, Mike, and I have two grown children, one married and one away at college and engaged, and three still living at home.  We’ve home schooled all of them, and each one of them is a unique blessing in my life from God, that always keeps me hopping and keeps life interesting.
