Alice Petty

Alice Petty has been attending Grace Chapel for 23 years, working with children for 20 years, and Director of Children’s Ministries for the past ten.  She and her husband Don have two grown daughters and 5 grandchildren.  Alice lived first in Mt. Vernon, Illinois then St. Louis, then on to Rochester, New York, and back to St. Charles County in 1980.  During her  spare time she enjoys home improvement projects and oil painting.

Her most proud accomplishment during the past 10 years has been the opening of our new children’s center, “His Wondrous Works”.  Our goal is for every child to be so excited that they can hardly wait to go to bed on Saturday night so they can wake up Sunday morning  and come to church.  It’s a wonderful place where children learn about how much God loves them and the wonderful things He created for us to enjoy.

The most exciting time here at Grace is when a child comes to know Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.  They are God’s most precious promise for our future.  What a joy it is to help them learn how much He loves them.
