Deacons and Elders have been members of the church for over a year and are elected by the congregation. We refer to 1 Timothy 3:1-13 to nominate members for these positions.Our Deaconesses are twelve ladies elected to assist the pastors and elders in caring for and ministering to the sick and hurting in the church. In this capacity, they pray, send cards, make calls and provide meals as needed. They are also responsible for preparing the monthly communion service, assisting at baptisms, decorating the sanctuary, encouraging our college students and hosting receptions for special occasions.
